June 2018 – Nashville Software School – UX Design Capstone CreativeSpace.app is a prototype of an Airbnb-style reservation app targeting creatives searching for rental spaces within a given location. Inspired by my mentor, it was the UX design portion of my final project at Nashville Software School. The prototype was created with Adobe XD and hosted in the Adobe Creative Cloud. Initial wireframes were sketched using traditional pen and paper. Working alone, though with some input and guidance from mentors and peers, I utilized several UX research methods to narrow down which designs and strategies worked best for the end-user. Methods included, but were not limited to, in-person interviewing, persona building, user journey and empathy mapping, competitor analysis, competitor user journey mapping, and in-person user testing.
